It’s going to be hot and dry this weekend

The National Weather Service is warning of significant warming throughout the weekend and beyond, with the hottest temperatures likely occurring Saturday and Sunday.

This weekend remember to:

• Avoid overexertion and stay hydrated
• Never leave people or pets in a vehicle
• Assist those who are at a higher risk, including children, pregnant people and older adults

Hot conditions, low relative humidity, and unstable conditions also mean an increased risk for fires! Please stay safe and be courteous. In other words — don’t set the city on fire!
