Upcoming King County weekend road closures in February may impact travel times

A pair of King County Roads maintenance projects Feb. 10, 11 and 17 may cause traffic delays in the Auburn area.

Peasley Canyon Road S and Peasley Canyon Way

Due to: Guardrail & road maintenance.

6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb.10, and Sunday Feb 11,2024.

All routes to the roundabout on S Peasley Canyon Rd will be closed. Peasley Canyon Way S will be closed from S 338th St. to the roundabout on S Peasley Canyon Rd, and S Peasley Canyon Rd will be closed from S 321st St to West Valley Hwy.

There will be no posted detour. Emergency access will be provided within the closure. Drivers may use Jovita Blvd, SR 18, S 316th St, and S 277th St as alternate routes. Expect delays.

Planned closure date: Feb. 10, 2024 at 6:30 a.m.
Anticipated opening date: Feb. 11, 2024 at 4 p.m.

7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024.

Peasley Canyon Way S will be closed from S 338th St. to the roundabout on S Peasley Canyon Rd, and S Peasley Canyon Rd will be closed from S 321st St to West Valley Hwy. Westbound traffic will be allowed through the roundabout toward Federal Way. There is no posted detour. Emergency access allowed. Drivers may use Jovita Blvd, SR 18, S 316th St, and S 277th St as alternate routes. Expect delays.
